Port of Long Beach

Sitara Systems designed and produced 5 interactive experiences that highlight the Port's role as the greenest container port in the world, as well as a major US-Asia gateway for products around the world.

As a Creative Technologist at Sitara System, I developed all front-end software in Unreal Engine and integrated UltraLeap sensors to track visitors' hands, allowing them to seamlessly experience all multimedia without touching a display. The installation includes custom tablet software that provides centralised control over all interactive elements and pulls updated content from a purpose-built CMS. A 30x18 foot 3D map table of the port serves as the room's centerpiece, with programmable lighting that illuminates specific sections of the model in sync to the content displayed on the accompanying multimedia interactive.
