An LED mirror-based interactive exhibit where visitors manipulate a mirrored door across a 30-120 degree range. The floor is segmented into 15-degree increments containing inner and outer light boxes. Segments reflect between the mirrors based on door position, creating dynamic patterns of colours and reflections. The interactive is controlled via a custom 3D visualization tool which tracks live rotary encoder data and outputs dynamic DMX color sequences.
My Role:
— Developed custom Unreal Engine 3D visualisation tool for live preview and output generation
— Built calibration system with homing sequence for precise angle tracking
Technical Responsibilities:
— LED light boxes control via DMX with python wrapper
— Rotary encoder and proximity sensor hardware input
